Here's a warm welcome to the new subscribers to the Healing Your Animal community and a heart-felt connection to existing subscribers.
It's Spring and it's the season of growth and birth as you can see in nature with the flowers and trees budding and blooming, more bunnies hoping, baby ducklings and goslings swimming, birds singing, and bees pollinating.
Life has been exciting since our last newsletter connection. I had 2 live radio appearances, a book signing at Whole Cat and Kaboodle's 10-year anniversary, and I filmed my video for my 3rd book: Healthy, Free, and Harmonious: Balancing your pet's chakras
. It will be available soon on my website.
It's amazing the effort that goes into creating a video and the finished product is under 2 minutes.
When things are important, we make the time and effort. And being a Reiki Master/Teacher, I used Reiki to support the process to help it go smoothly. And it did.
Reiki is a spiritual healing tool with Japanese origins that brings balance and healing to an unbalanced body and boosts a healthy body.
The word Reiki (pronounced “ray-key”) comes from the Japanese words meaning Spiritual Energy
Reiki is a spiritual system cultivating compassionate intention, which in turn may bring about healing transformation.
The practice of Reiki helps you navigate life’s challenges with grace and surrender while you learn to listen to and be present for others in a compassionate space. Offering yourself as a conduit through which energy can flow for the good of another (person, animal, plant) is the single most powerful gift that you can give and receive.
What is animal Reiki?
Animals naturally are in tune with their natural rhythms. During a Reiki session, animals often experience a deep state of peace as the Reiki clears imbalances (behavioral and physical), allowing for new and harmonious patterns of health and wellness to emerge. Reiki goes to the core of issues to heal. Animals being very open and receptive to the healing energy respond and greatly benefit.
You too can become a Reiki healer. See below in Learning Opportunities section.
You've heard me talk a lot about chakras recently. In Reiki, you learn and work with the chakras along with healing techniques.
So, this week's exercise is with the Heart Chakra.
